Kim Youngerman

Kim is a seasoned financial services professional focusing on retirement plans in the not-for-profit, governmental, and tax-exempt markets. Over the course of her career, she has worked in business development for MetLife, The Hartford, MassMutual and MissionSquare. Kim also has extensive experience with church plans and Native American Tribal plans. Most recently, Kim spearheaded the advisor/consultant channel for the fintech company, ForUsAll.
Kim possesses a drive to ensure quality services and products are brought to the largely underserved tax-exempt employers, their employees, and the advisors who serve them.
She possesses a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis and holds her FINRA Series 6, 63 and 7 licenses.

Troy Dryer brings more than 30 years of industry service to our group. He specializes in retirement plans for plan sponsors in healthcare, higher education, church and government. He is well versed in all types of retirement solutions, including 401(k), 403(b), 457 and non-qualified plans, and has helped establish executive comp and cash balance plans that allow key executives/highly compensated employees to save more for retirement.
Prior to joining IPX Retirement, Troy held various leadership and sales roles. As managing vice president of business development and client retention at VALIC, Troy implemented a new CRM system and increased his sales team’s productivity and implemented strategies to improve client retention. His career also includes positions with VOYA Financial, Fidelity and National Benefits Services with a focus on client experience outcomes.
As a subject matter expert, Troy has spoken at regional and national industry conferences including NACUBO, ASHHRA and NAGDCA on retirement trends and compliance topics. As a thought leader on emerging industry trends, Troy has created education material, presentations and white papers on plan design and participant applications.
Troy attended the University of Utah where he received his Bachelor of Science in finance. In addition, he holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 registrations.

John Edwards

John Edwards joined IPX Retirement in 2021. Drawing on over 13 years of experience in investment management and retirement plan recordkeeping, John specializes in helping retirement plan advisors and third-party administrators develop and streamline their retirement plan practices. John’s past experience includes leading the retirement division for a Registered Investment Advisor firm, covering sales and distribution for a large, independent recordkeeper, and consulting for an innovative advisor services firm that is revolutionizing the way advisors engage with plan participants. As an Accredited Investment Fiduciary, John brings a unique perspective to the 403(b), 457, IRA, and DB market.
Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, as well as golfing and sailing. John is active in his community, serving on several local boards over the years.

Aston Blake joined IPX Retirement in 2022 and brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. For the past 19 years, Aston helped retirement plan advisors and third-party administrators develop, enhance, and streamline their retirement plan practices within the tax-exempt markets. Aston’s experience includes National Not-for-Profit Practice Leader for MassMutual’s Retirement Services Division and Head of Product Segmentation for Empower Retirement’s not-for profit and government segments.
Outside of work, Aston enjoys attending church with his wife and children and playing soccer.

Lee Tenney
Head of Sales and Distribution
Lee Tenney is Head of Sales and Distribution at IPX Retirement. In this role, he leads the sales and distribution efforts for the organization, focusing on building successful relationships with clients and partners.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, Lee has a history of success in business development, product innovation and organizational leadership. He has a strong technical understanding and remains abreast of industry trends and legislation within the Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit arenas.
Prior to joining IPX Retirement, Lee worked for Allianz Global Investors, CUNA Mutual Group, 3D Asset Management and WisdomTree Investments.
He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance and economics from The University of Rhode Island and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Lee lives in West Hartford, Connecticut, with his wife, Rachel, two sons, Liam and Ryan, and a labradoodle named Coco. When not working, he enjoys spending time boating with his family, playing golf and fishing.
